2006 Art

This page has both digital and drawings I have done lately. Right now, I am just adding something about the cartoon controversy. This photo was taken outside the Danish Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia. This young man is very upset as you can see with the blasphemous actions of utter infidels. For some reason, I thought it was something I could do a little something with: a little tweaking here, a little tweaking there, and waa-laa, I might create some Warholian art, or Warholesque....maybe both......well, what do you think?

I just drew "Gabriel." I tweaked the saturation on the scan of him. I drew him with a black Bic Atlantis pen, but it looks real rainbowy this way and really like it. He was the angel who spoke to Mohammad. He looks sort of sad, eh? I think maybe he is a bit sad that we have made religion such a issue for division amongst us, whereas it really should be a unifying force. Oh, well. Maybe the next prophet, if there is one, will get all the kinks out of all the religions of yesteryear. Then again, maybe a Nuclear 4th of July will do just as nicely.....

The latest addition to this page is "Mimas." Mimas is a moon of Saturn. I will get the proper credit soon, but I think NASA is one of them. Pretty 3-D, eh? Think that might be part of a ring of Saturn behind it....
