Pink Telephone Message Pad Paper Art
Back in 1987, when I lived in San Francisco for a year, I started drawing at work on pink telephone message pad paper, using what was available to draw and color with at Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold. I think the freedom of the medium is much like the loose-leaf paper discovery I made when I first started painting back in L. A. in the summer of 1980. One of my pink telephone message pad paper artworks is called "Ugly Mona" and is in a private collection that includes works by Andy Warhol and David Bowie.
